Welcome to my website, The Innergy Centre. Please take a look on each page and then let me know what you think. As the Innergy Centre develops further, there will be additional offerings for videos, books, and Innergy Centre clothing and accessories. I welcome your comments and questions, in a constructive effort to improve the information, goods and services available from The Innergy Centre.

I love to study, practice and teach Qigong, which includes other energy practices such as Tai Chi. It is my life work to continue studying, practicing and teaching Qigong. I was drawn to Qigong many years ago because of its universal nature and applications.

True Qigong does not recognize the artificial boundaries and limitations of humans. A person of any religion, racial identity, culture, nationality, gender, sexual preference, age, economic situation, location, health condition, mental capacity, appearance or lifestyle can study and practice Qigong to his or her ability and interest level with equal opportunity for enjoyment and results. This is what I mean by the universal nature of Qigong.

A person who studies and practices Qigong can reap whatever benefits he or she desires, whether one practices for improved physical health, emotional balance, stress relief, mental focus, social interaction, inner peace, happiness, spiritual cultivation or martial arts/self-defense. This is what I mean by universal applications. A Qigong practitioner may benefit from improvements in any or all of the above applications.

I began studying and practicing Qigong and Tai Chi in the summer of 1993. By the fall of 1994, I had become certified to teach Eight Treasures Qigong by the Universal Society of the Integral Way (USIW), based in Southern California. In 1994, I combined two words, Internal and Energy, to form the word Innergy. I called my teaching practice The Innergy Centre. All who desire to study and practice Qigong in its various forms are welcome to join me.

Although we all live within our spirits, our hearts and our minds, it is both fun and comforting when our paths converge with others of a like mind and heart. There are benefits to both practicing and cultivating on one's own, and practicing with others. It's all about growth and transformation, no matter the form. Our Inner World need not be a prison from which there is no escape. It is our window to the world, our frame of reference for all we experience.

A simple act of reaching out with sincerity and honest self-expression can prove to have very powerful results for everyone involved. Remember when you threw that pebble into the pond? Remember watching the ripples as they spanned outward across the water? Your Innergy can do that too, in infinite ways.

Qigong meditation can be practiced lying down, sitting, or standing -- in stillness or with subtle, deliberate movements. Qigong consists of natural breathing, visualization, and the moving of Qi during the stillness or movements, for the subtle cultivation of Innergy, which can be used for self-healing or the healing of others.

One of the basic principles is to notice the Stillness in Movement and the Movement in Stillness ...
